Saturday afternoon, from 16:30 to 17:30, OLA offers activities for children where the young astronomers learn more about science and astronomy in an entertaining and relaxed manner.
On Saturday 16th of December, the planned activity is the simulation of how the craters on the planets are formed using spheres of different masses and diameters thrown onto various boxes with sand/flour to simulate the surface and composition of the planets.
Previous registration is required. For registrations, send an email to geral @ olagoalqueva.pt with subject “Young astronomers”.
