One the must-see things to observe through a telescope is Saturn, the lord of the rings.
Opposition date is 9th of September. However, Saturn will be visible in good conditions until late December this year.
Given the period of the orbital inclination of Saturn’s rings of 15 years, throughout 2024 the rings will be almost in profile.
