From Tuesday to Saturday at 21:30 and 23:00. Learn to find the polar star, identify the constellations and know their legends, relate stellar colours with their temperatures, observe star clusters, nebulas and distant galaxies with the help of our telescopes.
3rd October. On this day, the observatory promotes a thematic session dedicated to both astronomical observations and the nocturnal bird migrations.
From Tuesday to Saturday at 18:30. Learn to find the polar star, identify the constellations and know their legends, relate stellar colours with their temperatures, observe star clusters, nebulas and distant galaxies with the help of our telescopes.
12 December. Iniciative for those beginners in astronomy and photography but also for those who already have some knowledge but want to know more. Who wants to share their experiences is also most welcome.
21st December. On the night of the solstice, Saturn and Jupiter will be so close in the sky that will look as a single planet.
Every Saturdays afternoon, from 17:00-18:00 (Summer) or 16:00-17:00 (Winter), OLA offers activities for children where the young astronomers learn more about science and astronomy in an entertaining and relaxed way.
At 21:30 and 23h00. Learn to find the polar star, identify the constellations and know their legends, relate stellar colours with their temperatures, observe star clusters, nebulas and distant galaxies with the help of our telescopes.
13th March. A three hour session where the participants can follow and experiment the steps of acquiring deep sky images and learn how to process them. The participants use the observatory’s main telescope and become, for one night, the astronomers on duty.
27th March. This course shows the techniques and equipment needed to obtain images of remarkable quality of our star, the Sun.
