04/10/2023 – 10/10/2023 @ Todo o dia – From October 4th to 10th, we celebrate the World Space Week. Here at OLA we are planning some special surprises for both the Solar Observations and Astronomical Observations.
On Saturday October 7th, the Astronomical Observations session at 23h00 will be dedicated to observe the giant gas planets of our Solar System, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
The Orionids are produced by fragments of one of the most famous comets in history, Comet 1P/Halley.
On October 28th, the Earth will pass between the Moon and the Sun. Consequently, the shadow cast by the Earth will partially eclipse the Moon.
